Christopher Chaput works as part of the Sagebrook team contributing marketing project management, branding, and marketing systems expertise. A twenty-five year veteran of marketing, sales, and service, Christopher has worked with both startups and national and global brands. Christopher’s wide-ranging marketing operations experience – in both the B2B and B2C worlds – has been in the automotive, apparel and accessory, health and beauty, and professional/industrial service industries.
Christopher founded his Measured Marketing practice to offer small to medium-sized businesses the benefits of applying advanced technology tools to enhance marketing ROI. Prior to forming his own firm, Christopher held marketing management and operational positions at industry leaders National Signs, Ford Motor Company, the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. At Ford he was selected for the prestigious Marketing Leadership Development Program, which included postings in the UK and Germany. His responsibilities at Ford included working with world class marketing teams at Ogilvy & Mather, J Walter Thompson, Young & Rubicam planning, launching, and re-launching brands. Christopher has played critical roles in successful start-ups, turnarounds, and conversions including implementing project management, sales force automation, CRM systems, and launching e-commerce sites.
Christopher holds an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in Marketing Strategy and Business Technology and a B.S. in Marketing Management and an A.S. in Business Management from Bentley University. Christopher actively tracks current marketing technology innovations and has been a speaker and panelist at industry gatherings.
A serial restorer of old homes, Christopher is currently knee deep in the renovation of a 1920 Dutch colonial. His other passion is old cars and he is especially a fan of convertibles.
